LEE BOB & THE TRUTH’S TOP 5 FOODS
GATHER: Oak Park is tonight and we’re excited about all the different foods, desserts, beer options but most of all the band! Lee Bob & The Truth will be joining us and rocking out the night with their music. LBTT (for short), who was born out of their mutual love for the Blues and Rock and Roll, released their debut record earlier this year called, The Truth LP. Hit singles like, Mission Break Down, and I miss you will be performed live tonight in Oak Park. Since GATHER is a food event and we love Lee Bob & The Truth, we asked each of them what are their top 5 favorite foods to fantasize about while on tour. We also added in our own commentary of vendors we know will satisfy their cravings at the event tonight. If you are craving the same, you’ll know exactly where to go to get your fix.
Lee Bob Watson – Vocals and Guitar
“I’m all about that ‘POT ROAST and POTATOES from SHARI’s up in Oregon’ — Just like grandma used to make”
-Well, we don’t have pot roast but we do have burgers from Culinerdy Cruzer that seems to be the go-to for meat lovers at GATHER.
Steve Wyreman – Guitar
“Tacos and Budweiser.”
-Beers in Sac has curated a Beer Garden from local breweries that will satisfy any attendees thirst.
Josh Lippi – Bass, Background Vocals
“I always look forward to good BBQ out in Kansas City or Austin, but there’s nothing better than home cooked food and the BBQ’s at my folks house in Sacramento, we usually try to get a post tour BBQ party going when we get back.”
– Lucky for Josh, we have Haole Pig BBQ joining us this month who, we think, does some amazing Hawaiian BBQ.
Joe Bagale – Drums, background vocals
“I fantasize about Mexican food because generally every where I go on tour outside of California doesn’t know how to cook decent Mexican food. It’s usually the first food I eat upon returning home to San Francisco.”
-Debuting at GATHER this month we have Toro Tamales! We’ve tried and we definitely recommend.
Ben Schwier – Organ, Piano
“My wife’s homemade west Indian food.”
-Raja’s Tandoor will definitely satisfy your Indian food craving, plus did we mention that it’s healthy?
